Thrill-seeking participants have volunteered to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower, whilst raising some pennies to support initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of our NHS colleagues.

A message from Kate:-

I’ve been working on Cedar ward at Petersfield hospital for the last 18 months as the hospital to home coordinator.

Part of my role on the ward is to make the patients as comfortable as possible, this is the reason I have decided to do the abseil down the Spinnaker tower to give back to brighter ways charity as they have provided the ward with so much and without them it would not be possible to provide our patients with the lovely garden furniture that brighter ways are giving us.

Abseiling down the Spinnaker tower will be my biggest challenge I’ve ever faced.
