The theme of my birthday party is kaleidoscope. On a personal level, it reminds me of colour, energy, vibrance and having fun, the many varied parts of my character, as well as all the various aspects of my life that I'm lucky enough to live. All of which I can't wait to celebrate on the 16th, with all my favourite people!

On a much deeper level though, and in my professional life as a Psychotherapist in private practice, it's my privilege to work with a wide variety of people, from all kinds of different backgrounds, helping them to heal and learn from the countless different experiences that have scarred and shaped them in equal measure. The work therapists do can often be life changing and transformative for their clients.

Having been asked by lots of you what I would like for my birthday, I immediately thought of Help. I worked for the charity when I was training to be a therapist, and more recently I've returned as a supervisor. So, I know first hand what brilliant work it does and what a much needed service it provides. Your donations will directly help to offer therapy to a wide range of people, all of whom who are in desperate need of it, and none of whom would be able to afford it otherwise.
