The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileWe improve the quality of life for local residents in the Kings Cross Brunswick area. Supporting local people into education, health promotion activities, a youth work program, activities for older people, regular community events and working with local Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) communities.
For many vulnerable and disadvantaged people, the Kings Cross Brunswick Neighbourhood Association (KCBNA) is a lifeline. We're a volunteering organisation that improves the quality of life for all sections of the community, especially those who face challenges through no fault of their own.
COVID has impacted everyone in some way. From feeling isolated, to facing mental health issues. Perhaps you couldn't commute into Kings Cross to work or visit the places you love, and still cant.
The truth is, people of all ages and all backgrounds need us more than ever. Yet we're losing £4,000 per month as the pandemic continues to hit our fundraising. We simply don't have the money to help all the people suffering right now.
To continue to help people, we need to raise £10,000 by the end of January 2021. That's why we're asking you to donate your usual daily commute fare to us. Whatever you would normally pay to visit Kings Cross would make the world of difference to people in desperate need of support.
