Story

On 28th June 2019 our team will be climbing the three highest peaks in the UK, Ben Nevis (1345m), Scarfell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1085m). We are completing this challenge in aid of Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, our charity partner.

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity enables families who have a child with a life threatening illness to make the most of precious time together; providing expert practical and emotional support, where they need it, for as long as it is needed.

£26 will provide one hour of care, enough time to entertain a seriously ill child so that their parents can have a break.

£182 pays for a days visit from a Family Support Worker which allows parents to do chores, look after other family members, relax or simply sleep.

£1,780 is the average cost of support for a family with a seriously ill child for a year.

About the charity

Rainbow Trust Children's Charity supports families who have a child with a serious or life-threatening illness. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with an expert Family Support Worker who enables them to make the most of time together, giving them practical and emotional support.
