Keswick Museum is a thriving hub for heritage, making accessible the story of Keswick and the surrounding area to both our local community and visitors to the area. The Museum has operated from its present site since 1897 and offers a wide range of great exhibitions, activities and learning programmes.

As part of telling the story of our community, we know people want to hear more about the Arts and Crafts movement in Keswick. We're planning to create a new zone in the Museum as part of our wider exhibition plans to celebrate the work of the Keswick School of Industrial Arts opening in February 2020. This zone will showcase unseen items from the museum collection as well as providing a interactive workbench for children to create and learn about this fantastic story.
