Story
We are so grateful to frontline NHS workers but also want to remember and appreciate the frontline social care workers and volunteers who are not always recognised.
Our key workers travel in to work everyday also putting themselves at risk to support people with learning disabilities. Many of our service users are also vulnerable to the risks of catching Covid 19 so their efforts are crucial to keeping people safe.
We want to show them we are grateful for the amazing work they do, especially in these unprecedented times.
Please donate anything you can (including the treats themselves) and write a message to them and we will then distribute these gifts and messages of appreciation to our frontline staff and volunteers.
If you want to donate a treat/gift or know a local business that may want to donate, please contact our Volunteer and Communications Coordinator Josie at JosieK@centre404.org.uk so we can arrange to have this safely collected.
We are aiming for treats to spoil them, so things such as flowers and plants, hand lotion and bubble bath, sweets and chocolates, bottles of wine and bubbly.
Please note this is a campaign specifically for appreciation treats for our frontline staff and volunteers. To donate to help keep our vital services running during this pandemic please see our other appeal here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/centre404nafsiyatcoronavirusappeal
Thank you so much,
Centre 404 Team
