We rely heavily on our local community to help fund the hospice. It costs £14,539 per day to run Katharine House Hospice. Your fundraising will not only help to fund the clinical costs at the hospice, but also all the extra services that make it such a special place – from bereavement support to art therapies, from relaxation class to the hospice food and so much more. "As my first long-distance cycle ride, I was nervous about the challenge and whether I was up to the job. Thankfully, all the training paid off. My fellow cyclists were amazingly supportive, which kept me going. There really wasn’t anything like cycling up to the Eiffel Tower, knowing that I’d got there, all the way from London under my own steam! I would recommend the London to Paris cycle ride to anyone – in fact, I’m considering doing it again!"
