Play is an essential part of a child's development from both a social and cognitive perspective and it also helps bring joy! At a time when funding is at crisis point, we are in the position where funds for the renovation or repair of essential outdoor spaces, just isn't there. The PTFA wants the children to have a safe, exciting and inspiring playground that encourages healthy living, sportsmanship and, most of all, GOOD OUTDOOR FUN! With this in mind, we are running the sponsored walk event to raise money to resurface and re-fence the existing Multi Use Games Area. We have chosen an active, fitness focused theme to emphasise the importance of physical education and play and the children are really looking forward to the event. If you can, please dig deep and help us provide access to a new outdoor space and enrich the education of the pupils and staff at our wonderful school.
