Every year, the rising cost of living makes Christmas harder for families we support - especially those already facing trauma, loss or poor mental health.

For 16 years, the Kids Inspire Christmas Appeal has brought warmth and kindness into homes where it’s needed most. Last year alone, your donations helped us:

Support over 3,000 children and young people

900 festive hampers for families across Essex

We work closely with local schools, social workers and support services to identify families who may otherwise go without - then deliver what they need, just in time for Christmas.

What your donation could mean:

£5 – a couple of books for a child to escape into

£10 – art materials to support a young person’s therapy

£20 – two gift vouchers for teenagers

£30 – two food hampers for families in need

£50 – one therapy session for a child struggling to cope

£100 – a whole day of the Appeal in action: sorting, wrapping, delivering

Why it matters

Many of the children we support find Christmas especially tough - it can be a painful reminder of what's missing at home. Your donation helps us offer more than just gifts: it helps restore a sense of joy, hope and belonging.
