Kilimanjaro Water Project is a small family run charity, that each year visits some of the most remote impoverished parts of Tanzania in East Africa with a mission to provide running water.
Access to this most basic need is the first step out of poverty. On our missions, the team have drilled various wells to retrieve clean accessible water. Providing this creates both a foundation on which communities can grow and an opportunity to break the cycle of poverty.
When water comes everything changes. With running water over the years we have built medical centres, health clinics, schools and workshops in extremely rural areas of Tanzania.
Every year prior to travelling to the mission in East Africa, committee members and advisors carefully plan the construction and prepare the materials for the completion of each individual project.
At the backdrop of all our projects is a fundamental component funding.
