On 17 May 2026, the crew from Kilkeel RNLI are swapping the sea for the slopes as they take on the legendary Red Bull Soapbox Race at Stormont. Their mission: build the boldest, fastest, most brilliant Shannon-class soapbox they can — all to raise vital funds for the lifesaving work they do every day.

The RNLI volunteers are on call 24/7, ready to launch into challenging conditions to save lives at sea. Every donation helps provide essential training, equipment, and support so they can continue answering the call when it matters most.
