As the global coronavirus crisis continues to affect every aspect of our daily lives, your Kirkwood nurses are to stepping forward to make sure those on our In-Patient Unit, and being cared for in their own homes, continue to receive the highest quality care. And we are standing side by side with our NHS colleagues, offering critical support to the healthcare sector.

Every single member of the Kirkwood team - whether they are a nurse, doctor, therapist or cleaner - is determined that nothing will prevent families in our care from creating special memories and focusing on precious times, for however long they can. We will continue to make sure that our patients and those they love can make the most of every single day - they deserve nothing less.

But they can't do it alone. It costs over £20,000 each day to provide care. That's around £600,000 each month. Your support will help us to reduce the impact that the coronavirus has on our future and enable us to focus on what's most important our patients and those closest to them.

The measures put in place to protect us, whilst necessary, have had a big impact on our ability to raise vital funds. Many of our major events have been cancelled or postponed, and our amazing supporters are no longer able to fundraise for us in the same way. Government support has helped to soften the impact in the short term, but without many of our regular income streams, the impact on this crisis remains extremely challenging. We need your help today more than ever.
