Organised by Kings Priory School Educational TrustKings Priory School is upgrading to eco-friendly "minibus lite" vehicles, which have lower emissions and can be driven on a standard UK license. This allows more teachers to drive, benefiting more students through various school activities.
Kings Priory School has a small fleet of three mini buses. We are gradually replacing the older heavier minibuses with new “minibus lite” vehicles.
“Minibus lite” uses weight saving materials to offer a 16 seat vehicle that has lower emissions, lower fuel consumption, and crucially can be driven on a normal UK driving license.
This means that more of our teachers can drive mini bus lite which in turn means that more of our pupils can benefit from its use in activities that range from educational visits to sporting competitions and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.
The school currently owns one minibus lite and is seeking your help to raise funds to purchase another.
