Help us to support the PlayHut Café at Kilburn State of Mind – A Community Hub That Cares

At Kilburn State of Mind, we’re more than just a charity—we’re a community. Our Café, nestled in the heart of Kilburn Grange Park, is a vital space where people come together for a hot drink, a friendly chat, and support. It’s a place where no one feels alone, and where everyone is welcome, regardless of background or circumstance. For many, it's the only place they can get a warm meal or a drink, and the simple act of sharing a coffee can make a world of difference.

Now that we have aquired a coffee machine (thanks to your fund raising efforts so far), we have been able to re open our cafe. It is great to see a steady trickle of our regulars returning....BUT....we need your continued help to reach a wider audience and really solidify the cafe's value in the community. To facilitate this, we will be doing a big launch on 10th May, the date of our Music, Markets and Memories Festival. Please continue to help our fundraising so that we can restock ongoing and for the big re launch.

What Do We Need?

We’re aiming to raise £3,000 to re-open the Café on Saturday 5th April, 2025. Here’s how your donation will help:

£1,500 for a reliable coffee machine (our previous attempts didn’t work!)

£600 for coffee machine engineer and installation

£500 for restocking food and kitchen essentials

£400 for food safety training for our volunteers
