Lace Up & Leash Up is back! This annual community fundraiser supports the Luna Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, with dollars raised going directly to Lunas critical intervention and prevention programs for children and youth who have experienced abuse.

On October 1st, participants will lace up while their furry friends leash up for a 10,000-step challenge and photo scavenger hunt. You can complete the challenge with just you and your pets, or why not get your family, friends, or co-workers involved in some friendly competition. There is no set course for Lace Up and Leash Up you and your pet can do the challenge in any location of your choosing walk in your neighbourhood, stroll in your favourite park, hike a mountain trail, or explore the streets of your town its entirely up to you!

Lace Up & Leash Up is the kick-off to Child Abuse Prevention Month. Every October, Luna and our incredible community of champions join in solidarity with children and youth who have experienced abuse. Lace Up & Leash Up raises critical dollars in support of Lunas intervention and prevention programs, while also helping to increase awareness raise awareness about child abuse and the role that we can all play in keeping kids safe.

Raise $1,500+ and be entered into a draw to WIN two (2) Bryan Adams tickets to the Saddledome on November 9.

Raise $1,000 - $1,499 and be entered into a draw to WIN one (1) night stay for two (2) at the Fairmont Banff Springs.

Raise $500 - $999 and be entered into a draw to WIN Calgary Flames signed merchandise.

Raise $250-$499 and be entered into a draw to WIN one (1) of six (6) prizes, including: four (4) admissions to the Calgary Zoo; two (2) admissions to Heritage Park; four (4) admissions to Calaway Park; one (1) Family Admission pass to Royal Tyrrell Museum; one (1) $100 Gift Certificate to the Nash; or one (1) gift tote from Kensington Wine Market.
