The Network and Micah Liverpool's Lands End to Liverpool Cycling Fundraiser 2025

Support our team as they take on a gruelling 400-mile cycle from Lands End to Liverpool to raise essential funds to support people in poverty across Liverpool and surrounding areas.

We work to provide a range of holistic and practical services to support local families and disadvantaged people in inner city Liverpool. We support some of the most vulnerable in our area, and hope to move people from a position of crisis and vulnerability, towards stability and life fulfilment.

Story

The Challenge

After last year’s successful Westminster to Walton cycle, the team are taking on another fundraising challenge to support anti-poverty initiatives across Liverpool – this time even more gruelling.

Lee and Rich will begin their 4-day, 400-mile journey in aid of Micah Liverpool and St Andrew’s Community Network – two local anti-poverty charities based in Liverpool – starting at Lands End on Tuesday 26th August and cycle through villages, towns and cities on their way back to Liverpool where they will arrive in the evening of Friday 29th August. It’s an intense, tough challenge, but one that they’re taking on to raise awareness and essential donations to support people in poverty across the city.

Please do show your support by donating if you’re able to, and share this page! Every single pound donated, kind message left and post shared about the cycle is extra motivation for our incredible cyclists who are taking on a massive physical challenge.

About the Charities

St Andrew’s Community Network and Micah Liverpool have been tackling poverty across Liverpool for a combined 32 years, working towards social justice by providing essential services and advice to people facing financial hardship, unemployment, and food crisis and insecurity.

Together in 2023/24, the two charities provided over 25,000 emergency food parcels to households and families in crisis, gave debt and income maximisation advice to hundreds of people facing hardship, and supported those struggling with unemployment into work or further education as we tackled the root causes of poverty, alongside alleviating the immediate crisis that so many across our communities are currently facing.

We couldn’t have the impact we do without the incredible generosity and kindness of everyone who gives their time, money, food and energy to support the work of St Andrew’s Community Network and Micah Liverpool. Every single donation will go a long way towards helping us continue to provide this support across our communities and tackle poverty in Liverpool and beyond head on.
