This challenge is in memory of Louise. Louise was a Beaver, Cub, Scout and an Explorer. Enjoying her time at each section. She loved venturing out with her friends and inspiring others to take part and challenge themselves.

Sadly, Louise died of cancer very suddenly last year and her Dad (Ian), a scout leader himself, wanted to support Young Lives vs Cancer to spread awareness about cancer in children and young people.

Ian said, 'Young Lives vs Cancer helped Louise in many ways, she got support from a social worker to help with understanding what was happening and support with her mental health. She also received financial help so that she could attend her hospital appointments'.

We ask for every Scout and Explorer to take in the challenge of walking, running or cycling 10 miles over one week.
