“We are hoping to bring some joy to those in Tayport (and surrounding areas) this year that may not have much or anything to open on Christmas. We know times are tough this time of year, but some people may not have anything to open at all, and it can be a very lonely time for those who are vulnerable and who can’t see friends or family. Therefore we are collecting gifts and donations to go towards anyone who needs a little Christmas spirit!

All donations to this cause will go towards buying gifts from our ‘wishing tree,’ located at the Larick Centre Reception. A small percentage of money will also go towards wrapping paper, Christmas cards and labels etc.

Any money left over from our donations will be divided between Age UK (who work tirelessly to provide life changing friendship and support for older people who feel forgotten, isolated and lonely - especially around Christmas time) and Social Bite (who provide homes, jobs, hot meals and support to individuals and families who are homeless and sleep rough - especially around Christmas time).

Our gift drive is not limited to any particular age group, and we will buy gifts for anyone who wishes to take part. Any money you can donate is deeply appreciated, and you will be helping someone feel a little less isolated this Christmas.
