This Christmas we are asking our amazing supporters to do one thing before setting your out of office for the holidays... donate your last hour of pay to Challengers! A small act like this will make such a difference to the children and young people who attend our services. Donate above and help us provide incredible play schemes for disabled children and young people across the South-East.
If you don't know, Challengers is dedicated to breaking down the barriers of play for disabled children and young people. We provide inclusive play and leisure opportunities to hundred's of disabled children and young people a year, aged 2-18 at our pre-schools, playschemes and youthschemes all based across the South East. Challengers is a place where all disabled young people can have fun, make friends and try activities they have never had the opportunity to before.
Whilst their child is in our care, parents can feel confident that their son or daughter is happy and safe, and that their needs are well catered for. These parents are often in need of breaks from their care responsibilities. Our services provide respite for them, and fun for their child.
Uniquely, our non-exclusion policy means that at Challengers, we will never turn away a child on the basis of their medical or behavioural support needs.
Challengers has kept our families mental and physical health from tipping over the edge. We feel safe in the knowledge that there is somewhere he can go and do activities he will enjoy and we can have time for ourselves and the rest of family. Not just respite but an adventure for him, with folk who understand his needs and are prepared to go the extra mile to meet them. - Challengers Parent
