Story

The Layla Jane Pitt Remembrance Trust (Registered Charity 1138958) has been established in remembrance of 11 year old Layla. The sponsored cycle from Telford to Porthmadog is one of the Trust's annual events and has grown and developed each year. On Saturday 24th August, Layla's father, Tristan, will lead a team of cyclists from Telford to Porthmadog. Leaving Telford at 8am, cycling 120+ miles and over 800m above sea level, via Bala, Barmouth and Harlech to Porthmadog, arriving at Cardigan View Holiday Park @5pm. A family fun day/evening is also being held at Cardigan View Holiday Park, Porthmadog. Further details can be located on the Trusts Facebook page.

With your support, our work to date has enabled us to fund two patent rooms at Alder Hey Childrens Hospital that are dedicated to Layla and enable parents to stay with their children in ensuite accommodation throughout their stay in Hospital. We have also funded numerous projects with Hope House Children's Hospice and continue to fund scholarships to assist young people with their education in performing arts.

We are extremely grateful for any donations which enable us to continue to support bereaved families and families with life-limited children as well as supporting youngsters with their education in performing arts.
