When life gets tough or it feels like there's nowhere to turn, Barnardo's is here. We make sure children and young people feel safer, happier and more hopeful by directly supporting them with specialist services across the UK. We have been changing childhoods and changing lives for over 150 years.

In April 2024 Leeds Building Society joined forces with Barnardo’s, a leading charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and young people across the UK.

Did you know one in three young people leaving the care system experience homelessness within two years? That’s why we’re proud to partner with Barnardo’s to provide crucial support to those transitioning out of care.

Over the next three years, we’ll be donating at least £300,000 to support Barnardo’s. But it doesn’t stop there. We’ll also be offering our expertise to help deliver housing support, career advice and financial education, empowering young people to take charge of their futures.
