Let’s make this Christmas a Cracker for Brixton Families!

This holiday season, we’re raising £3,000 to throw an unforgettable Christmas party for families and children in Brixton. On Thursday 19th December, Loughborough Community Centre (LCC) will host our annual Christmas Extravaganza – a warm, welcoming end-of-year celebration packed with a delicious home-cooked meal, festive fun and a special visit and gift for every child 🎅 🤶 🎁 ✨

Why We Need Your Help

LCC operates in one of the most deprived areas in London, according to the Index of Multiple Deprivation data. Brixton is full of life, but it’s also an area facing some tough challenges. Many families are battling poverty, isolation, housing insecurity and hardship. With many in our community facing even greater financial challenges this Winter, we want to make this celebration the best one yet.

We’re determined to make sure every child and family feels joy this Christmas – and we need your help to make it happen.

How you can make a difference

Every donation will help provide everything needed to make our party unforgettable, from a traditional Christmas meal and festive fun to a special gift for each child and holiday activities.

☃️ £6.50 could provide a delicious home-cooked Christmas meal for one person.

🎁 £20 could give two children a gift to unwrap.

🌟 £100 could fund festive prizes for our children's games.

❄️ £150 could bring some Winter magic with a snow machine for the big day!

Why It Matters

Christmas should be a time of joy, but for many families it’s a season of struggle. High poverty rates, unemployment and housing challenges mean many parents are unable to provide the experiences we often take for granted. At LCC, we believe every child deserves a chance to feel the magic of Christmas – and with your support, we can make that a reality. Our end of year celebration is more than just a party, it’s a chance to bring our community together and offer a moment of relief and joy during challenging times.
