Our Family Service is for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families in London.

We guide families and help them to navigate the SEND system.

We are by the side of families and help them for as long as they need us. Families, children and young people do not need a diagnosis to use our service. We want every family and child to be fully included and to be able to reach their potential.

We provide free advice, information, support around self-advocacy, workshops, as well as signposting to other services.

We help families improve relationships and gain the tools to better support their children.

Many parents and carers who are supporting children with SEND feel isolated and stressed. They spend so much time fighting for their child’s rights that they put their own wellbeing last. LDN’s Family Team are an anchor for families: a source of stability when they are struggling and feeling lost.

By helping parents, we help the whole family.

Our service is shaped by the families we support through our coproduction panel. It is important to us that families are at the heart of what we do.
