Together, we can offer more autistic people the life-changing opportunity to welcome an assistance dog into their world.
Autistic people can experience upsetting meltdowns, isolation and depression. Our furry friends can combat this by increasing independence, improving mental health and boosting self-esteem.
Another incredible benefit is that some specially trained dogs can act as an early warning system. When their human partner is moving towards a meltdown, they can sense it up to twenty minutes before it happens. What a life-changing gift!
The demand for dogs has hugely increased and we now have a long and urgent waitlist. With your help, we can train and support more dogs and every newly trained dog is another autistic person’s life transformed!
