This cause is especially close to Leanne’s heart. In 2024, her beloved Grandma Freda was admitted to St Bede’s following ongoing health issues. Freda, who never liked hospitals, was able to spend her final days in a warm, peaceful environment surrounded by family — all thanks to the compassionate care provided by the hospice staff.

Freda was truly the best grandma anyone could wish for — kind, strong, and deeply loved by her family. Her presence is missed every single day. Leanne is running in her memory, hoping to raise funds to help other families experience the same care and support they received.

Angie is joining Leanne every step of the way, knowing how much Freda meant to her and how important this run is.
