Visit the charity's profileTala is 8 and has been a refugee all her young life. As a wheelchair user, she was socially isolated, but all that changed when she joined our summer camp!
When she started she was very shy and only used a few words to communicate. But after a week her confidence grew and she began to socialise more, and by the end of the project, she was very happy to get involved and loved singing and dancing in the graduation ceremony.
Tala's mum noticed a big difference. "Before this project, Tala was shy and reluctant to speak, but now she is confident in expressing her opinions."
