Mark is a friend of and volunteer at Ledbury Food Bank who wanted to embark on a challenge to do more to raise their profile and also funds to support their work. So, starting on the 10th October Mark hopes to complete a solo 5 day, 100 mile walk through the Breacon Beacons, sleeping in his 1 man tent along the way.

Marks route will start at the historic Skirred Mountain Inn at Llanvihangel moving on to Llanthony Priory at Abergavenny, through picturesque Hay-on-Wye, weaving over the Black Mountains and ending in Brecon.

Ledbury Food Bank is an independent food bank, run entirely by volunteers and they passionately believe that no one should go hungry. The food bank's work is concentrated in the market town of Ledbury and the surrounding rural Herefordshire villages.

Mark would love you to support his challenge and the work that Ledbury Food Bank undertakes by giving generously! You will be helping to provide emergency food and much needed support to individuals and families in the community at a time when there are so many financial pressures.
