The Irene LeeKong Heath and Wellness Institute was founded over a decade ago and is named after my grandmother, Irene LeeKong, who was a beacon in the Brooklyn community helping to create a safe refuge for children like me. Since its inception, the Irene LeeKong Health and Wellness Institute has served thousands of families and children in New York City, and this year marks the second year in a row where every child remained safely in their home, with zero placements in foster care, the juvenile justice system, or long-term mental health facilities. Moreover, children and parents show statistically significant improvement in family relationships. Please join us in supporting these critical services to children and families today!
