The team are using the challenge to raise funds for Lancashire Youth Challenge, the award-winning Lancaster-based charity that supports young people to overcome adversity, build resilience and discover their potential through active movement, outdoor adventure, creative practice and nature-based learning.

Funds raised through the challenge will directly support a multi-day youth expedition this summer enabling local young people to experience the same sense of achievement, belonging and personal growth that Ryan discovered through Lancashire Youth Challenge programmes.

A special thank you goes to Therapeutic Care in Blackpool, who both Ed and Sam work for and whose generous donation has provided a significant boost to the fundraising campaign. The support they have given Ed during some very difficult times following Ryans passing has been amazing and their donation has brought the team one step closer to creating new adventure and personal development opportunities for young people across Lancashire. The contribution reflects Therapeutic Care commitment to supporting young people to thrive and has made a real difference to the success of the appeal.
