Story

Phase 3 – The Final Chapter of Our Journey

For over 40 years, Mohammadi Masjid has been more than a building. Since 1985, it has been a place where tears have fallen in sujood, where children have recited their first words of Qur’an, where families have found comfort in times of joy and loss.

Today, our masjid is full.

Every Jumu’ah, over 2,000 worshippers gather — shoulder to shoulder — and many are forced to pray outside. Our classrooms are stretched. Our youth are growing, but our space is not.

We have completed two phases together. Now we stand before the final step: Phase 3.

This £2 million+ project will expand our prayer hall, create dedicated classrooms for men and women, provide essential ghusl facilities, and improve youth spaces — allowing us to welcome over 3,000 worshippers.

To begin, we urgently need £200,000–£300,000.

This is not just construction. It is legacy. It is Sadaqah Jariyah that will continue long after we return to Allah — with every salah prayed, every child taught, every heart guided.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever builds a masjid for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Jannah.”
