Host your own 24-hour gaming marathon and raise money for Friends of the Earth.

Much like the climate emergency, the pandemic has affected the most vulnerable both at home and abroad. Our climate campaign team is working tirelessly to make sure the government adopts a recovery plan which both fixes our broken economy and prioritises people and planet.

How to fundraise

1.  Set up your fundraising page on JustGiving, it's really quick and easy. Try and raise at least £150.

2.  Share your goal. Tell your friends, family and gaming community what you're going to do. Share the link to your JustGiving fundraiser and ask people if they can sponsor your 24-hour marathon.

3.  Live stream your gaming online using your own or a friend's Twitch account. You can raise even more cash this way because more people will see what you're doing. If you don't want to use Twitch, you could host on Facebook or Instagram instead. You can find out more on our website.

4.  Remember to keep yourself and others safe during the coronavirus pandemic. Ensure you follow the rules where you are and always maintain social distancing.

5. Get a good sleep the night before your marathon. On the day, remember to stay hydrated, eat well and take breaks.
