Elizabeth "Libby" Teresa Van De List, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 2, 2024, at the age of 70. Known for her vibrant personality and infectious sense of humor, Libby touched the lives of many, especially through her work as an assistant instructor at Lake Land College and her involvement with the college's horticulture program. Her passion for plants was a central part of her life, and she took pride in sharing this love with others.

To honor Libby’s legacy and her dedication to education and horticulture, a memorial scholarship fund has been established at Lake Land College. This scholarship will support students in the horticulture program, continuing Libby's commitment to helping others grow and flourish.
