Story

We need your help to raise £300,000 so that LIBRA can support the development of new and improved treatments for blood disorders and blood cancers at Kings College Hospital in London (Kings), while also helping to ensure facilities for patient care are of the highest standards. We have raised more than 60% of our target, but need your support to reach our goal!

Our campaign is supported by Dame Kelly Homes MBE as she campaigns to raise awareness of blood cancer after losing her mother to myeloma. The double gold medal winner teamed up with LIBRA to help encourage support so that new lifesaving and life improving treatments can be created.

LIBRA Chairman Andrew Lodge said:

The vital funds raised will be used by experts at Kings to develop lifesaving therapies for blood cancer patients and those with blood disorders in the UK and overseas, with some funds being used to cover the cost of vital equipment to ensure first class patient care. Please support our campaign to help make this dream a reality.
