Story
As you’ve probably heard, a car struck our Grade 2 listed building last Monday, we’ve been told the driver is ok and we are hugely relieved to hear that.
Currently, the building is unsafe and the road outside is also closed until the building can be made safe.
The vast majority of the repairs should be covered by insurance, but we expect to have direct costs to the charity in excess of £5,000. It's complex to repair as we are a listed building so heritage, architects and listed building permissions have to be granted at every stage - not just a straightforward take down and repair!
Any donations will be put toward the urgent repairs and the renovation budget, so we can reopen our doors to all those who use our building.
Thank you for your generosity at this difficult time.
