The Founder of Life in London Trust launched the charity in the memory of her Mother and Brother, who both sadly passed away in 2018.
Her Brother suffered with insomnia and depression. When he couldn't sleep at night he use to wander the streets and talk to the homeless, buy them food and hot drinks. help them write up their CV's and even lend them his ties. His Legacy has been carried on through Life in London Trust.
The charity's main aim is to make a difference in the life of those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
In the 6 years since it has been launched we have over 150 volunteers from children to adults. The whole team has grown into a family and with the same aim in helping others.
Every month we feed the homeless in Trafalgar Square, we provide them with hot food, snacks, fruit, hot drinks, water, juices, toiletries, sleeping bags, tents, blankets, warm clothing and other items which are necessary for them. Each monthly project can cost anything up to £1800 to £2000.
With the cost of living so high, it has got very difficult getting donations. So every year we try to do a fundraiser to help raise funds.
Every penny raised goes directly to the cause and none of the funds raised are used to run the charity.
But has items have become expensive, it becomes difficult to have enough donations for each project as we serve between 150-180 of our homeless friends.
So if you can help us, even if you donate a £1 it will make a difference, so please kindly so us some support and donate.
Thank you.
