Hi, we are Louis's parents, Ian and Helen from Merthyr Tydfil. Louis was born with a complex heart issue that Bristol children's hospital 2/3rds repaired in 2021. He was in hospital for 17 months. For the last 2 years he has had a fairly admission free time.

He recently caught H1N1 avian flu and was in Cardiff ICU. We have been told that although the heart surgery is viable, due to his disability they are refusing to help him.

We don’t know how long we have to fight this and any funds raised will go towards Louis’s fight for life and surgery either in this country or abroad. It will also go towards any specialist equipment he needs.

A couple of hospitals have already been contacted in America. The surgery will enable Louis to carry on living in his family with lots of love.

We are asking for donations for a child who has been doing really well and is a much loved member of a large family. We are also asking for social media exposure and help in getting this far and wide so who knows who it might reach.
