COVID-19 has brought unprecedented times, people not travelling, working from home, pressures on our health service. Despite this, Light into Europe needs to continue working hard to support Blind and Deaf people to live independent lives.

Our Emergency work is to find new ways to reach our beneficiaries to survive, keep well and rebuild their lives by :

- Supporting all our Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs with essential food, vet care and medicines .

- Supporting struggling families with Deaf or Blind children who risk losing their jobs or are forced to take unpaid leave, ensuring their children are supported to learn and play.

- Providing Blind or Deaf pupils & teachers with essential assistive technology; smart phones or tablets to be able to carry on being in touch with teachers and colleagues .

- Providing emotional and financial support to Deaf or Blind people in need of critical medical or life supplies.

With a 90% reduction in fundraising, we turn to you, our supporters and lovers of Guide Dogs to give us a helping hand to get through this difficult period.
