WISHH: Light Up the Queen's Centre

Great things happen when people work together! WISHH have teamed up with the Teenage Cancer Trust and GFM (Grosvenor Facilities Management) to light up the Queen's Centre for Oncology in time for Christmas 2026!

Closes 31/12/2026

WISHH stands for Working Independently to Support Hull Hospitals. We fundraise to complement and enrich the services and facilities at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospitals, over and above what can be achieved by the NHS alone, for the benefit and comfort of patients and their loved ones.

Story

We're hoping to add some festive cheer for patients and staff of the Queen's Centre at Castle Hill Hospital for Christmas 2026!

Our plan, with facilities management company GFM, is to light up the exterior grounds so that everyone can see a spectacular display from wards and offices at the centre.

The first event will be the Yorkshire Three Peaks which will take place on 30th May 2026.

Hospital infection control rules mean that it's difficult to decorate inside wards and offices, so we've decided to decorate our beautiful grounds for all to enjoy.

It seems a little crazy to be talking about Christmas so early, but we're planning events and fundraisers across the year to make sure this Christmas is brighter for all at Castle Hill Hospital.

Thank you for your support!
