On the 18th and 19th of June, 11 walkers from Lincoln Private Investment Office will be taking on Hadrian's Wall in just two days in order to support the Lincoln Foundation.

This mammoth task involves walking from Carlisle to Newcastle in under 48 hours. The team will be covering approximately 65 miles or 104km across two days, with over 2000m of elevation along the way. Taking in Housesteads Roman Fort, Steel Rigg and the infamous Sycamore Gap the walkers will toil for an average of 12+ hours a day to walk across England.

The Lincoln Foundation currently provides support to two fantastic charities. Become is a charity whose vision is that care-experienced people have the same chances as everyone else to live happy, fulfilled lives. Their mission is to help children in care and young care leavers to believe in themselves and to heal, grow and fulfil their potential. Become work alongside them to make the care system the best it can be.

New this year, the Foundation will also be supporting Unique, a charity helping those with rare chromosome and gene disorders. The charity provide support, information and networking to those who often lack information on the disorders impacting their loved ones, and aim to help families understand and live with the disorders, and find others who do the same.
