We are seeing more and more feeling the strain of ever-increasing burdens. This means that for many individuals and families, the festive season could be an significantly worrying and upsetting time.

To try and turn the tides, YMCA Lincolnshire are asking for help to provide 170 Christmas gifts for those who live in our supported housing and 30 Christmas hampers which are distributed to the most in need families who make use of our services in Lincoln and Gainsborough.

With these hampers and gifts we are aiming to provide a range of items that are out of reach for those who are living on a minimal budget, and provide some comfort to those who may be spending the festive season alone this year.

We know that for many, you may want to do something good but feel that you won’t be able to make an impact. Please be assured that if you can donate anything, these hampers and gifts will mean the world to those in our community that may otherwise find Christmas a difficult or distressing time.
