Lings Primary School made history as they won the NLF UK National Flag Football Championships at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium in June. Testing themselves against the very best primary school teams across the UK. They will now go on to represent the UK as Team UK in the International Flag Football Championships which will take place in Orland Florida next February as part the NFL Pro Bowl week. They will then be competing against teams from across the world including all continents and if they are successful, they will be crowned ‘World Champions.’

To support these phenomenal children we need your help. The NFL have covered the cost of travel and accommodation for the event, however they will not be able to support the travel and accommodation for the parents are careers. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for these children and to have their parents/ careers by their side as they represent their country, a privilege very few people ever have the chance to do, would mean the world to them.

Our school is based in a very deprived area of Northampton and with the current cost of living crisis this dream of watching their children represent their country is in the balance. Therefore we are asking for money to help support the parents with covering the cost of accommodations and travel for the event. You can give as little or as much as possible. We are estimating that costs will be around £1000 per parent and we would hope to get one parent/ career per child so our target is £10,000.
