Welcome to Wellesbourne and District Lions' first annual Scary Scarecrows competition!

Can you create the scariest scarecrow that will spectacularly spook your neighbourhood? You can? Well now's your chance to prove it.

This year we would like you to put on your thinking pumpkins and design the kind of scarecrow that would scare away even the wickedest of witches and 'orriblest of ogres. Display your scarecrow in your front garden (or in a window if you haven't got a garden) from 9 am Thursday 29th October to 5 pm Sunday 1st November.

Entry is £5 (with all proceeds helping out your local community).

Send a photo of your scarecrow to lionsscaryscarecrows@gmail.com along with the name of your scarecrow, your name, and your address. We'll upload the photo of your scarecrow to our Facebook page and whichever scarecrow gets the most votes by 5 pm Sunday 1st November will win a £30 Co-Op Voucher.
