Welcome to Wellesbourne and District Lions' annual Scary Scarecrows competition!

Can you create the scariest scarecrow that will spectacularly spook your neighbourhood? You can? Well now's your chance to prove it.

Once again we would like you to put on your thinking pumpkins and design the kind of scarecrow that would scare away even the wickedest of witches and 'orriblest of ogres. Display your scarecrow in your front garden (or in a window if you haven't got a garden) from 9 am Friday 29th October to 5 pm Monday 1st November.

This year we're splitting the entries into 2 classes:

Children (up to 16)

Adults (17 and over)

Entry is £5 per scarecrow (with all proceeds helping out your local community).

Send a photo of your scarecrow to lionsscaryscarecrows@gmail.com along with the name of your scarecrow, your name, and your address. We'll upload the photo of your scarecrow to our Facebook page along with the street name so your scarecrow can be admired by those brave enough to do so. Whichever scarecrow gets the most votes by noon on Monday 1st November will win:

Children (up to 16) - £15 Voucher

Adults (17 and over) - £30 Voucher
