The Church of the Holy Ascension in Littleworth is a fine Victorian church built by the Fellows of Oriel College, Oxford, under the inspiration of Edmund Bouverie Pusey whose family owned the nearby Pusey estate. It is a place of prayer, sanctuary, welcome and worship for all who come here, witnessing to the healing love of God for all people. The church is open every day, and also houses a badminton net, table tennis table, pool table and table football for the free enjoyment of all generations.
Littleworth church serves the community, offering social activities, pastoral care, baptisms, weddings and funerals, fortnightly Sunday worship and big festival celebrations at Christmas and Harvest. We visit the sick and housebound and those in hospital, praying for all in need.
This church has no income other than what it raises each year - your help is greatly appreciated in helping to keep it open, thriving, and serving the community.
Holy Ascension Littleworth is part of Gainfield Parish, which includes the three churches of St Mary's Buckland, All Saints Pusey, and Holy Ascension Littleworth.
