Let's bring comfort to grieving young hearts
Help raise £50,000, to support families and children, facing the loss of a parent or loved one.
Families in North Devon need your help - today. The hospice is caring for more and more younger patients, which means more children need our support through their grief. You can be there for families going through the toughest times, with a donation today.
What is the Living Through Loss Appeal?
When a child loses a parent or loved one, life will never be the same. The Living Through Loss Appeal aims to raise £50,000, so North Devon Hospice can provide bereavement counselling, support groups, and emotional support for families and children facing this upheaval.
Grief can happen to any family at any time. We want to make sure they can live well, make precious memories in these times, and know that they are not alone.
Why Support is Needed Now
North Devon Hospice is caring for more patients in their 30s and 40s than ever before. This means that, sadly, more local children are being left to navigate life without a parent. Your support will ensure that no young person has to face that grief alone through our support for the whole family.
How Your Donation Will Help
A donation today to the Living Through Loss Appeal provides funding for counselling sessions, group activities, and other tailored support. Young people and families can be wrapped up in our care from the moment their loved one is diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, and we’ll be there for them into bereavement, for every step of their journey.
