The bell in St Cynhafal's, Llangynhafal, has sung out from the church for 250 years but sadly has now become dangerous and has had to be removed for safety.
We'd like to hear it ring out once more and so we are looking to have it repaired and re-hung, can you help us raise the funds necessary to ensure they ring out for next 350 years?
The bell was cast in 1773 by Thomas Rudhall of Gloucester, it has a diameter of 640 mm, weighs approximately 180 Kg and is inscribed “THOMAS RUDHALL GLOSTER FOUNDER 1773”
