Story
I’ve chosen to support Comfort Cases for my charity running because their work speaks directly to my values, dignity, care, and the importance of children feeling seen during times of upheaval. As a lived experience, independent social worker, I know what a Comfort Case would have meant to me, and to the children I support in my work.
Running for charity has never just been about the race day for me — it’s about showing up consistently, carrying a cause with you through quiet training runs, tired legs, and moments of self‑doubt.
Wearing Comfort Cases gear this morning felt like running with the charity, not just for it.
As I head towards this final charity half marathon, I’m doing it with a full heart, sore legs, and a huge amount of appreciation —
for Comfort Cases, for the community around them, and for the reminder that small, practical acts of kindness can make an enormous difference.
