Story

Our Men's Club is tackling social isolation in older men due to a loss of a partner / friends, illness or confidence. Our activities are tailored with men in mind and many decisions are made by the members themselves. We can often offer these activities at little or no cost with transport provided. Through these informal gatherings friendships around common interests often blossom. Giving a new lease of life. This is what our members say ...

... the Age Concern Mens club has been a blessing in a sea of utter confusion after the death of my wife.

... the club has been a life saver for me, to have some mens company and some games, gives me something to look forward to

... I am writing to you to support your efforts with the mens group. Us older men certainly need trips out and company as we dont find it as easy as the women to engage in conversation.

About the charity

In Epsom & Ewell each week 1 in 5 elderly people don't know who to turn to for advice, friendship or practical help. So every week that is what we do! Spending time, providing affordable taxi driving, providing practical services for them and giving advice. All essential services!
