James Broscombe, Richard Guest, Dave Lewis, Darren Woodward, Johnny Barton and Ian Blann are cycling over Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September 2019 on a route passing many Turning Point services, including Luton, Milton Keynes, Leicester and Stafford - you can follow our route on Strava.
On the journey the team will be wearing jerseys for Rightsteps, Turning Point's work supporting employee health and wellbeing in the workplace through counselling telephone CBT and on-demand wellbeing platform services.
The team are raising money for four Turning Point activities detailed below which are related to three elements of the Five Ways to Wellbeing: Be active, Take notice and Connect.
Raising funds for gardening equipment for residential services across the country to help people receiving support from Turning Point to keep active, whilst getting green fingers!
Helping people with mental health issues connect with others and build skills and experience in the cafe at the same time.
Supporting all Turning Point service users to receive full E-Therapy Mindfulness sessions and Mental Health First Aid sessions for 12 months

Tackling social isolation and alcohol misuse with older people in partnership with Age UK.
