Lancaster Men's Hub (LMH) is a local charity, run by local people and funded by the generosity of individuals and local businesses. It also seeks grants from funding bodies. Being staffed by volunteers, and by careful management of its resources, it makes those generous donations go a long way as it seeks to combat loneliness and isolation amongst men all year round. For some, the holidays, and particularly the Christmas and New Year festive season, can be the loneliest times of the year. LMH does its best to continue a range of activities through the holiday period so that being alone does not mean being lonely.

Many people take the opportunity at this festive season to support local charities. Please, if that's you, consider making a donation to LMH. It may not be as glamorous as Children in Need, but consider a contribution that helps us buy a bottle of gas to keep our Studio building warm or allows us to maintain our no charge policy so that nobody is turned away from activities or events.

Members of LMH will be raising funds themselves by selling gifts, cards , crafts and items crafted from wood at Christmas Fairs.

Lancaster City Brass have also chosen LMH as their Christmas Charity this year, and proceeds of their Seasonal Concert will be donated to LMH. https://www.lancastercitybrass.com/Charity2024
